Copenhagen Consensus Youth Forum took place in Copenhagen May 24-28 at the Queen's Hall at the Royal Library in Central Copenhagen. Copenhagen Consensus Youth Forum was held the same time as Copenhagen Consensus, hosted by the Environmental Assessment Institute and included nine of the worlds leading economists, including four Nobel Prize winners.
Copenhagen Consensus Youth Forum represented the decision-makers and experts of tomorrow: it included 80 university students from 25 nations. The Youth Forum members represented more than 70 percent of the world's inhabitants.
The participants in the Youth Forum was being put to the same task as the economic experts of Copenhagen Consensus: answering the question of how we should prioritize solutions to ten of the world's most pressing challenges. The Youth Forum had the same foundation for prioritizing as the expert panel – the same ten presentations by experts and opponents was given.
