Bjørn Lomborg

Adjunct Professor and Director Bjørn Lomborg has been heading Copenhagen Consensus Center at Copenhagen Business School since its start January 2006.

Bjørn Lomborg author of Cool It and The Sceptical Environmentalist and editor of the three books on the Copenhagen Consensus: Global Crises, Global Solutions (2004), How to Spend $50 Billion to Make the World a Better Place (2006) and Sollutions for the World's Biggest Problems (2007).

Bjørn Lomborg was named one of the 100 globally most influential people by Time Magazine in April 2004. Foreign Policy and Prospect Magazine had him listed as the world's 14th most influential intellectual in October 2005.

Bjørn Lomborg is born 1965 and received a MA (Aarhus) and later a PhD (Copenhagen) in political science. Until 2005 he was Associate Professor at Aarhus University. He was director of Denmark's national Environmental Assessment Institute from its start in 2002 until 2004. From 2005 he has been Adjunct Professor at Copenhagen Business School.
