Research

The Copenhagen Consensus 2004 Expert Panel's deliberations were informed by ten new research papers commissioned for the project from top scholars from around the world. Each paper rigorously examined different approaches to tackling one global challenge. More background information about the different Copenhagen Consensus papers can be found here. 

The ten challenges examined in Copenhagen Consensus 2004 were:

	Conflicts		Governance  and   Corruption
	Communicable   Diseases		Education
	Financial   Instability		Climate  Change
	Hunger and  Malnutrition		Population:  Migration
	Sanitation   and  Water		Subsidies   and Trade   Barriers
