Time for Indian states to pick best opportunities to compete globally
New research examines policies for enhancing export trading opportunities from Rajasthan. Rajasthan is India’s largest state in land area and is a leading producer of agricultural commodities. Its ambition is to increase its share of national exports from the present day 2% to much higher levels. To do this it needs to address the challenges of a hinterland state, with inadequate infrastructure to transport export goods to seaports.
India is transforming, thanks to its strong performance selling products and services around the globe.
