Fighting Malnutrition Efficiently

Government officials, NGOs, private sector representatives, donors and researchers gathered in Nairobi, November 3rd, 2009, to examine some of the most cost-effective solutions and innovative approaches to solve the problem of malnutrition.

The conference was organized by the Copenhagen Consensus Center and Denmark-based company Gumlink. The conference was followed by a second conference in New York on November 9, 2009, designed to focus world attention on the case for urgently investing more resources in reducing malnutrition.

Bjørn Lomborg outlined the CCC's search for the best solutions to global challenges
like malnutrition. Globally recognized malnutrition economist and expert Professor Sue Horton outlined the 'best practice' approaches to reduce specific malnutrition problems.
